Earlier I was lamenting to someone that there were kink memes (a kink meme, from what I understand, is a place where one can request or post anonymously a porn fic (posting a porn fic only to fill a specific request)) for lots and lots of different fandoms, but not one for LOTR, aka the third biggest fandom ever in the history of fandoms. So I was back on fanfiction.net just a few hours ago for the first time in months. Can you seriously believe I haven't read any fics in months? Anyway, being there reminded me that I used to write Twilight fics to make Twilight somehow more palatable to me, idek. But I felt so obligated to finish these redonkulous fics, and it was stressing me out. So guess what? I just found out that I don't need to write fics to be part of a fandom. *rejoices* All those great fic ideas (the epic Haldirmance that I already wrote the outline for, that Elrohir and/or Elladan food fight scene, a shy but straight Erestor, and that Arathorn's death oneshot that's halfway done) don't need to be written at all. They can be a serial illustration thingie! Like a comic strip, only more painterly (because I'm actually a painter disguised as a draftsman/drawer ;)).
